Where Clemson Targets Are Visiting This Weekend

With Clemson playing on the road at Notre Dame, a number of recruiting targets will be visiting other schools.

2023 DB Khalil Barnes, a former Wake Forest commit, is set to visit South Bend for the Tigers' matchup with the Irish. Notre Dame, who is recruiting Barnes as a WR, is likely Clemson's chief competition.

A number of 2024 targets will be headed to Athens, as Georgia hosts Tennessee, including OL Blake Franks, OL Daniel Calhoun, OL Josiah Thompson, LB Sammy Brown, DL Eddrick Houston, ATH K.J. Bolden and S Mike Matthews. Also possible OL Kam Pringle visits, though he was scheduled to be at NC State this weekend.

2024 WRs Alex Taylor and Jonathan Paylor, the only two wideouts in the next cycle that currently have offers, will visit NC State, as the Wolfpack hosts Wake Forest.

2024 OL Blake Frazier will visit Oklahoma, for the Sooners' game against Baylor.

2024 DT Hevin Brown-Shuler will visit Virginia.

One last recruiting note. Another 2023 prospect set to be in Athens is current Auburn commit, RB Jeremiah Cobb. The Bulldogs just recently offered Cobb and he quickly responded by scheduling a visit. Most will recall Auburn beat out Clemson for Cobb back in the summer. If he eventually decommits and opens things back up, it's possible the Tigers would again be interested. Still, it's also worth noting that the Georgia offer is one he has long coveted.
