And we are underway as Tallent strikes out leadoff hitter Blake Jackson after a lengthy nine pitch at bat for the first out of the game.
Tallent sits the 49ers down in order, striking out two of the first three hitters.
And the Tigers do down in order in the bottom half of the first.
Tallent walks the second hitter in the second and we have out first base runner of the afternoon.

Lefty Collin Kramer has pitched well for the 49ers. He doesn't throw hard, his fastball is touching 90 at times, but he has excellent command so far. His off speed stuff has especially kept the Tigers off balance.
Cooper Ingle hits into a fielders choice and moves to second on a wild pitch. Two down.
Cade Grice goes down looking, stranding Ingle at second.
