Brent Venables loves the versatility that 2022 LB commit Jaren Kanak brings to the table.
That versatility was on full display on Friday night as Kanak, who plays quarterback for his Hays High School team, rushed for more than 150 yards on 17 carries and hit on six of his nine pass attempts for 127 yards. He accounted for five touchdowns in the 39-17 win, three coming on the ground and two through the air.
Oh, and Venables just happened to be on hand to witness the performance.
