If last year's clash bt Spiller and Dixon led to his transfer and w no real success in our RB recruiting classes for 2 years is Spiller in over his head

Should we as fans start looking at Clemson PWO offers as essentially regular scholarship offers? Or maybe grayshirt offers? Would you foresee us ever filling all of the available spots going to signing day with scholarship commitments?

Not really sure I see what you are trying to get at here? But PWO offers at Clemson mean the same thing as they do anywhere else.

I just get the impression that Dabo has an ethical guidance system that is not just what "they do every where else". (Refer to policies around tranfers, tranfer portal use, number of offers, etc.) I haven't ever heard him say so, but he seems to embrace having 2 or 3 uncommitted scholarships to reward hard working WOs. If so I understand, but hope it isn't blind spot in roster management.

There are some years he has not used every available scholarship. But no, I do not believe he intentionally holds them just so he can hand them out to walk on players.

Gray shirts are guaranteed a scholarship but agree to delay enrolling. And a PWO comes knowing he's not getting a scholarship for at least one year.
