Multiple Targets Set to Visit for Furman, More Recruiting Notes

A couple of big-time recruiting targets will be on hand this weekend when Clemson plays its home opener against Furman.

2023 DE Tomarrion Parker, who picked up an offer last month after decommitting from Penn State, will be in attendance. However, it will be an unofficial visit, opening up the possibility for an official later in the season. He still has four he can take. I could see him possibly back in Clemson for the Syracuse game, but nothing definitive as of yet.

2024 LB Sammy Brown will also be on campus. Brown's parents are both Furman alums, so this sets up perfectly. Brown was at Ohio State last weekend for the Buckeyes' win over Notre Dame.

2023 DT Kayden McDonald did not visit Florida last weekend as many were expecting. Instead, he was reportedly at Ole Miss, watching his brother, who plays LB at Troy. This weekend he is set to take an official to Michigan. McDonald will announce on October 31 and is scheduled to take an official to Clemson for the South Carolina game.

2024 QB Jadyn Davis is also set to visit Michigan.

As many have probably seen by now, 2023 DT commit Stephiylan Green made somewhat of a surprise appearance at Georgia's season-opening beatdown of Oregon. Don't think there is much of anything to see here, though. From everything I can gather, Green is still solidly locked in with Clemson, and let's just say I would be surprised to see him show up as a surprise visitor for another program moving forward.
