Clemson hosts Boston College in the second of a three-game weekend series that will conclude regular season play. The Tigers come into today 1.5 games ahead of Duke for the 12th and final spot in the ACC Tournament, meaning a Clemson win or Blue Devils loss on Saturday would clinch a spot for Monte Lee's team.
Clemson will send LHP Geoffrey Gilbert to the mound. Gilbert is making his fifth start of the season and is 4-2 with a 5.40 ERA. BC will counter with RHP Henry Leake, who is 2-2 with a 6.50 ERA. This will be Leake's sixth start of the season.
On a side note, after his home run last night, Max Wagner now has 25 on the season. He is just two shy of the program record set by Khalil Greene in 2002.
All Clemson will provide live updates throughout the day. First pitch is set for 3 p.m.
