Other fans and other places keep saying he's off of Clemson now. No idea how they know. But he certainly is reportedly crazy about USC lately.
Is Braxton Myers still set for June 3?

Last I checked with him, last week, he said he was coming. But he's announcing a commitment on May 16.

Weird. Wouldn't you expect Dabo to ask him not to come if he commits to USC on the 16th?
I would expect any visits he has planned for after he commits to not happen, outside of the school he commits to

Making all the timing and messaging even weirder. Once he set a date, just ending OVs might've been a good move. But I also understand it's the NIL $$$$ era. So there's "value" in the "trending" and traction you get by playing a game. Don't let anybody in on your plans and keep the clues minimum. Increase your likes and mentions and retweets and and and. Do what your "NIL agent" recommends. I'm mocking because I'm a natural cynic. But I don't think I'm completely off the mark in all cases either.
Reading between the tea leaves, his decision was made after the OVs were set up.

I guess I'm the type that once I would make public my announcement date, I would probably cancel OVs that come after that. What's the point? Unless he's just trying to keep fans of as many teams as he can drawn in. Again, for NIL and future "earnings" potential.
This isn't about NIL. It's about not giving his decision away, which is exactly what happens if he starts canceling publicly.
