***Grading Clemson's Loss to Georgia

What a disaster of an offensive no show last night. Yeah yeah yeah, Georgia's defense.
How about Clemsons offense. NONE.
2 yards rushing,7 sacks, pick six. Stalled drives.
No 3rd down conversions to speak of.
2 losses in a row to silver and red/garnet and black teams I can not stand.
CMON. We have got to change something up. Our offensive plays are predictable and stagnant.
DEFENSE LOOKS GREAT. EVEN WITHOUT TD13 AND NT24. ALMOST L8ST BRESEE AND SKALSKI
I LOVE Clemson University and Clemson football.
We should have had better protection and production last night.
It's ALABAMA and ROY BUS

Gotta say you were very generous in your ratings for both WRs and RBs. The only performance that seemed to not be a flunk was from Ngata. All other WR and RB made more mistakes than good plays. Not 100% on the RB because of the line, but still, Pace slipped a number of times and just didn't look confident as one example.

This is the first year of the playoff era where I don't think it's legitimate to say Clemson is in charge of its own destiny. There isn't any margin left. In fact I think the team will have to rely on other teams to falter in order to get a shot at the playoffs. You can almost predict UGA won't lose a game and so will go to ATL. Even if they lose to Bama, there's no way Clemson gets in over them. So, it's almost inevitable that there will be 2 SEC teams sucking up slots only leaving 2. OSU and OU have a better chance than Clemson. 11 more games to go. But some other team needs to slip up. OU losing to UT? OSU losing to Penn St? They have a serious defense this year, and OSU's offense may not get its edge back by then. Who knows. But not just this loss, but the way it was lost I think removes Clemson from the driver's seat this year. Plenty of football to go, but....

Clemson is in desperate need of a Quarterback that leads the Offense with Confidence and sheer determination…
The defense was strong yet will continue to improve but without a Qb winning games will be few… Currently, the Qb might be in need of vision correction to complete passes to players instead of behind them and a boatload of Confidence…Go Tigers

Did you not see him put the offense on his back at ND? He's got the "eff you I'm gonna make a play" gene. But somehow that either got coached out if him or they added too much information all at once. No doubt the ran a more simplified scheme for his benefit last year. But he looked slow in reads and decisions. That needs to be fixed.

Wow--1 bad game and some are ready to send DJ to showers. Some may need to realize there will be a long time be4 u see another Trevor. DJ did quite well at ND last year and we heard few complaints. He is a very good QB--made some poor decisions on Saturday--but gee--is there anyone who does not make poor decisions or mistakes. At least he "owned up" to it and I expect better decisions in the near future. One player does not win the games and one player does not lose the games--although there are some who firmly believe one player makes the team.

My position, too. If you compare the ND game or even the come from behind BYOG game against BC and the UGA game, it's hard to put all of that on a QB. It's coaches first, then the QB.
