The Shipley show continues, as he carries the ball for 34 of the Tigers' 39 yards--capped off by a 3-yard TD run
During Clemson's last possession, Baylon Spector was standing behind the defensive players who were sitting on the bench. He was in a huddle with Venables and linebackers but no helmet. No sign of him playing yet.
Shipley is clearly Clemson's No. 1 back at the moment. Only Dixon can change that in my opinion.
Agreed...even if he is not the "starter", as a former coach told me, "it is not about who starts, it is who finishes." And Shipley is a finisher.

30 minute lightning delay is underway at Memorial Stadium. There are 32 seconds left before the half.
Clemson announced that both teams have agreed to make the lightning delay halftime.
When play resumes, they will play the final 32 seconds of the second quarter and then begin the third quarter.

I just can't get my hopes up about the rest on this game nor the rest of the season. Almost want there to be 1 more loss as some point just to reduce the pressure. Lord have mercy.
It is hard to get your hopes up when they haven't given you a lot to put your hope in
