The no-contact period is officially over and the Tigers are set to host official visitors over the weekend. 2022 DE Jahiem Lawson, 2022 WR Cole Turner and 2022 DB Myles Oliver will all take official visits, with Oliver being the lone player of the three to not have picked up an offer yet.

That also means the coaching staff will be back out on the road. Expect Brandon Streeter to stop in and check on Arch Manning and new offensive line coach Thomas Austin to visit with 2023 OL targets Markee Anderson and Monroe Freeling, both of which are scheduled to attend Clemson's Elite Junior Day on January 29. Manning isn't set to attend that weekend, as his next round of visits won't happen before the spring, but the Tigers other 2023 QB target, Chris Vizzina will be on hand.

Safeties coach and co-defensive coordinator Mickey Conn was also set to stop in and pay 2023 S Caleb Downs a visit.

The biggest news of the day might revolve around 2022 DT and current Auburn commit Caden Story. The 6-foot-3, 282-pound interior defensive lineman committed to Auburn back in the summer but chose not to sign during the early signing period. A big part of Story's decision to commit to Auburn was his relationship with Nick Eason, who last week was named the new DT coach at Clemson.

Story has publicly maintained that he is still committed to Auburn and that he committed to a school and not a coach. However, it's sounding like the blue-chip prospect and Top-250 talent will visit Clemson next weekend. This is a huge development for the Tigers, as it's looking like Dabo Swinney's decision to bring in Eason is already paying dividends. Clemson has no defensive linemen committed currently and only signed one DT in 2021.
