All In Cookout Update

As most know, the All-In Cookout is set for Monday. This year's event is just one day and will be one of the smaller ones.

Most of the attendees will be Clemson commits. As for uncommitted targets, 2023 S Rob Billings is set to be on hand. Billings' recruitment is about to wind down, with the Tigers having all the momentum. Florida State has been the primary competition.

Was told earlier in the week that 2023 DT Kayden McDonald would make it into town, but have been told since that is not the case. McDonald's recruitment is far from over, though, and he still has official visits he can take. We will see if Clemson can get him back on campus in the fall, something I tend to think happens.

As noted earlier in the week, 2023 WR target Ronan Hanafin is not expected to be on hand either. Still think Clemson is sitting in a good position with Hanafin right now, as the biggest competition has been Notre Dame, and the Irish already have commitments from three receivers in this class. The latest came from Jaden Greathouse, who announced a commitment back on July 15. A decision from Hanafin is expected before the start of his senior season.

2023 RB target Chris Johnson isn't expected to attend either. I do think Clemson is in this one but wouldn't call them a favorite by any stretch. The offer from the Tigers has resulted in him slowing things down, though, and we'll see if the staff can get him back on campus for an official in the fall.

2023 DE Jaevin Hobbs is one guy I will be tracking to see if he attends. With Hunter Osborne now apparently Alabama bound, Clemson has to move on to the next target, and one guy on the radar is Hobbs. Not really expecting him to be there, but haven't been able to confirm either way.

Have been told this morning that CB Shelton Lewis, out of Stockbridge, GA, has also been invited and is expected to attend. Lewis, a former Pitt commit, doesn't have an offer yet, but I would expect that to change if he does indeed get to campus.
