We are reaching the end-stage.

While no commitment date has been announced, it appears that the recruitment of 2023 OL Harris Sewell is reaching the finish line. The 6-foot-4, 290-pound prospect is considered one of the top interior linemen in the country. There is an argument to be made for him being the best in the country. Either way, we are talking about a guy that ranks among the Top-100 players nationally.

Out of Odessa, Texas, Sewell currently has close to two dozen offers, with Clemson, Texas A&M, Texas and Ohio State mostly being the main players. In the end, though, this one has come down to a battle between the Aggies and Tigers.

Sewell picked up his offer late last year, then visited multiple times during the spring. His last visit to campus was for the big official visit weekend earlier in June. He then visited Texas A&M the next weekend.

Landing Sewell would be a major recruiting win for first-year offensive line coach Thomas Austin, who has already reeled in one blue-chip prospect in Ian Reed. It would also give Austin his second big recruiting win in the state of Texas, as Reed hails from Austin.

Again, no commitment date has been set as of yet. However, recent intel suggests an announcement could be coming in the near future, and All Clemson is now ready to project.

Projection (8-8 2023, 18-19 All-Time): Clemson
